The Advantage of Cobalt Alloy Cutting Blade.

STP alloy is one kind of cobalt-based superalloy; STP series alloys have excellent wear resistance, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance; it is the first choice for many harsh and severe wear applications; it is wildly used in the production process of cellulose fiber viscose staple fiber and Tencel, especially in the cutting process. SYTOP has unique technology and experience in producing cutting blades to meet customers’ needs. We can also customize the blade according to different chemical and size requirements.

Through a large amount of research and production practice, combined with the application environment, our company invented a special alloy suitable for the viscose cutting environment, the material TP80.

  • TP80-42:  C: 1.5~1.7%, Mn: ≤1%, Si: ≤1%, Cr: 26~31%, Ni: 4~8, Mo: 1~2%, W: 4.5~7%, Co: Bal., Others: Nb 4~6/Cu  0.5~2, HRC42-44
  • TP80-44:  C: 1.7~1.9%, Mn: ≤1%, Si: ≤1%, Cr: 26~31%, Ni: 4~8, Mo: 1~2%, W: 4.5~7%, Co: Bal., Others: Nb 4~6/Cu  0.5~2, HRC44-46
  • TP80-46:  C: 1.9~2.0%, Mn: ≤1%, Si: ≤1%, Cr: 26~31%, Ni: 4~8, Mo: 1~2%, W: 4.5~7%, Co: Bal., Others: Nb 4~6/Cu  0.5~2,HRC46-48
  • TP80-48:  C:2.1~2.2%, Mn: ≤1%, Si: ≤1%, Cr: 26~31%, Ni: 4~8, Mo: 1~2%, W: 4.5~7%, Co: Bal., Others: Nb 4~6/Cu  0.5~2, HRC48+

TP80 is produced by powder metallurgy process to refine and grain to improve the mechanical properties.
