Cobalt alloy STP 12 saw tips triangle B series is a cobalt-based alloy.

Application:

Traditionally, bandsaws with cobalt alloy tips were used for cutting hardwoods, but they have been proven to be used on softer woods such as Fir & Pine. Due to their excellent corrosion resistance, they can cut wood like red cedar and unseasoned lumber.

STP 12  C: 1.1~1.7%, Mn: ≤1.0%, Si: ≤1.0%, Cr: 28.0~32.0%, Ni: ≤3.0%, Mo: -, W: 7.0~9.5%, Fe: ≤3.0%, Co: Bal.

The triangle size is 0.18 inches, and kerf(thickness) range is 0.09 to 0.25 inches
