Product Details:

Hot-dip galvanizing is a form of galvanizing. When applying zinc to steel, when the metal is immersed in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of approximately 450 °C (842 °F), the zinc forms with the surface of the base metal, a measure that protects the steel from further corrosion.

In the process of galvanizing, some equipment parts of the galvanizing line need to work in high-temperature zinc solution or zinc-aluminum solution for a long time, so a material that can have high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance at the same time is required. STP alloy or T800 alloy perfectly solves this problem and provides a good solution for galvanized production equipment components.

According to the production line’s different temperatures and rotation speeds, the bushings can be customized in the following grades.

  • STP 4  C: 0.8~1.3%, Mn: ≤1.0%, Si: ≤1.5%, Cr: 28.0~32.0%, Ni: ≤3.0%, Mo: ≤1.5%,  W: 12.5~15.5%, Co: Bal., Fe: ≤3%
  • STP 6  C: 0.9~1.4%, Mn: ≤1.0%, Si: ≤1.5%, Cr: 27.0~31.0%, Ni: ≤3.0%, Mo: ≤1.5%,  W: 3.5~5.5%, Co: Bal., Fe: ≤3%
  • STP 12  C: 1.1~1.7%, Mn: ≤1.0%, Si: ≤1.0%, Cr: 28.0~32.0%, Ni: ≤3.0%, Mo: -,  W: 7.0~9.5%, Co: Bal., Fe: ≤3%
  • STP T800 C: ≤0.1%, Mn: -, Si: ≤3.5%, Cr: 16.5~18.5%, Ni: -, Mo: 27.5~29.5%,  W: -, Co: Bal.

The STP bearings stop, segments, and other spare parts made of Si3N4, stainless steel and zirconia, etc., for the line are available too.
